Rage Bug Magnum

Featured Replies

What's everybody's impression so far?  Personally I seem to have better luck on the Missile Baits D-Bomb and the R.I. 4.20 Beaver.

I have fished them a little and gotten a bunch of hits on it, but I think the 3/0 Twistlock flipping hook I was using is too small, I have only made a single hookset so far.  I got some larger ones but have yet to fish them.

The action is really nice both on the drop and swimming it and it seems pretty durable.  They are pretty heavy too, around 1/2oz iirc, so I keep meaning to try one t-rigged weightless once I get the hook size sorted out.

I really like the bait.  I am a huge fan of the standard bug but the magnum is changing that.

Bunnielab,  definitely increase the size of that hook.

Great for flipping and punching. For tx rigs i like the small one better

I use a 5/0 owner jungle flipping hook with my magnum bugs. I like them on a swinging jig head as well.
