For wacky rigging - what is your preference between a Zoom Trick worm or the Finesse worm ? Do you find one gives you better action than the other for wacky rigging ?

Trick Worm  ?

The longer length allows for more action

I use both, tend to prefer the Finesse simply because I

get more action than when I use a Trick worm, but I do

like both.

Another vote for the trick worm. I usually t-rig, shakey head or drop shot the finnesse worm. I usually only go to it on tough days. I save my "used" t-rigged trick worms, and slice a thin sliver of surgical tubing and use it as an o ring. I can usually get a bunch of fish on each worm, but every so often one steals it right off the bat. I can't argue with how well wacky rigging works, but its like watching paint dry...

Thanks for the replies - it would appear the ends of a Trick worm will flutter more than the shorter Finesse worm ...

Either will work and when I am throwing a weighted head Jackal Flick Shake is the best.

Man I must be in the minority here but my numero uno bait for wacky rigging is the lowly French Fry worm .....

Raul doesn't just throw a standard Zoom French Fry - his are marinated in 100% Puro Blanco to cater to the local bass :)

Finesse worms; 75% of my wacky rig are nail weight worms, 25% drop shot worms.

Zoom swamp crawler........................thank me later.

Find a custom bait maker to inject you some 6" "trick" worms with their sinking stickbait formula plastic.

Wild Card answer !! ... I bet a swamp crawler would be a great option for a wacky worm !!

I've been liking the trick worms and I take a large nail weight and break in half and insert between eye and point of hook.  A little faster fall....not much ... but goes with my not so patient way of fishing and it falls like a senko.
