I had been watching their site but it said certain products (including Daiwa) were excluded from the sale... must have missed it.

Thx, I saw that one tonight too.  Decent price at 20% off, although I bought the same specs in a Tatula from them earlier this year at 37% off.  But maybe $100 off is as good as it gets for a Steez??

Does it have to be a T-Wing?  I personally think that T-Wing is overrated.  And does it have to be new?  About 6 months ago, I won a like new Steez 103L for $187 and free shipping on ebay.  Then I bought the Zillion SV spool from Tackle Trap for $69.  Absolutely incredible reel!

For a current model, Yes that’s about as good as it gets. If you would’ve followed the sales threat or any of the 100 tackle warehouse threads that people made , Tackle warehouse has in exclusions list that says it is unable to advertise prices at that discount. Everything on that list except for mega bass and Minnkota was included on the sale.  You did miss the boat on the cheapest price on the reel.

Just keep an eye. I just bought, although a different seller, a Stradic CI4+ for $137

I kind of had a feeling that might be the case. I was only half looking, but my timing will be better soon.  Dealing with a sick relative in hospice.  Maybe an after the holidays sale

I messaged a few people asking for Stradic links. I was informed by one of the guys I messaged that the sale is no longer on Ebay. Just keep an eye out. They come from Germany and the price fluctuates with the exchange rate.

If youre banking on a sale to purchase an item, then that item is probably not a realistic purchase, especially considering the hospice situation.

 

If you want to find a deal keep checking ebay, craigslist, and facebook for a used one.
