Takes about 20 hours

Maybe I should have dumbed down my statement to a lower level of education to make sure you understood my point. So, here goes.  Try to read it carefully so you'll fully understand.

You'll be surprised how long it takes to actually accumulate 20 engine hours on an outboard. You don't run the engine nearly as long as it seems.

Hope that clarifies, slonezp.  ?

  • Hey it floats!  Almost a week and I finally got it out on the water.  I'm following the break-in instructions for the engine, so I couldn't open it up.  I got the first hour out of the way.  I went to

Got my boat today!  Already about to get it opened up to install some gear.  Everything is really accessible and there should be no issues at all.  My dealer gave two tracker shirts to us... Almost ga

That punch missed me like a fart in a windstorm.:dancing-baby: I do 60-80 hours annually from ice out to ice up.

It's going to be a long winter...

Installed the recessed foot pedal. Took it out this weekend. No complaints at all.

It’ll have to wait until I get to a computer. The pics on my phone are too big.

From the looks of it, I need to take off the deck to install a new trolling motor. Is this correct?

Just the front plate that has the plug for the trolling motor.

New bass tracker classic is same exact boat with different rims, grey instead of brown, and a 50hp.Personally I don't like all the white on graphics.Does not say anything about free cover or gift card?

I saw that.   I'll keep my Heritage for now.

First noticed when I was watching jaimes video that there is now an aluminum plate for top 2 bolts on transom. Was looking at the gallery of pics on the bass tracker classic site and it has same plate.Just thinking they realized it needed beefed up or something.I guess Ill have to make one for mine then.Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this. Not on facebook so I can't share it with those guys.

I just found that.  Interesting, my transom still looks good.  You could always contact Tracker and see what they say.

Probably less about beefing it up and more about displacing the force

I didn't think they were beefing it up for good looks.

I received my Heritage Tracker on September 24th, I ordered it just under the wire on March 15th. It is a 2019 model. It does have the “beefed up” plate on the transom. It has a hook2 x 4 horizontal depth finder. All other features are the same as I have seen on the various videos.

During one of my four outings, I found the front seat to be annoying while running. I am considering removing the passenger’s seat, from the hinge, and replacing it with a carpeted piece of plywood with another swivel base. I could then install the front seat into that base while running. I would then have a step up to the rear deck when the seat is removed and mounted, on the pedestal, up front. My only concern is that it will swivel during runs and beat up the upholstery. What doyou all think of this idea?

I don't see why it would not work.

I personally hate the front seat. Only use it if the water is rough, to keep me from falling out of the boat.

fortunately mine fits in one of the lockers under the deck.

It's your boat, do what is comfortable for you.  Take pics and post of your progress when you do it. :Captain:
