Just noticed on jaimes new video that there seems to be an aluminum plate between top bolts on transom.Dont remember mine having that.

I noticed that mystery plate is listed at BPS.

  • Hey it floats!  Almost a week and I finally got it out on the water.  I'm following the break-in instructions for the engine, so I couldn't open it up.  I got the first hour out of the way.  I went to

Got my boat today!  Already about to get it opened up to install some gear.  Everything is really accessible and there should be no issues at all.  My dealer gave two tracker shirts to us... Almost ga

I want that jack plate!!  No telling what that jewel costs!

Only $825.00 at your local Bass Pro shop for a 5.5" lift   And T-H marine has a 10" lift for a mere $1157  :D

Hey y'all, I'm new to the forum! I picked up one of the last 2018 Heritage models back in October (I know, I lucked out). I just got her back from the shop after having some "new" (40-year-old) electronics installed, including a Humminbird Tom Mann Super Sixty and a Bottomline Sidefinder. She's definitely looking the part of a retro boat now...

Here is the video.

Nice.  Are you still working on Part 2?  I'd like to see that equipment in action.

Love it. All you need now is some pistol grip Skyline rods, 5500c Ambassaduer reels and a pack of Creme worms.

O yea, welcome to the forum.

My original bass tracker! I ordered it with a 40 hp back then haha!

Been watching this thread off & on since before I got my Heritage back in March. Seems like we all have pretty similar ideas for upgrades. I went with Garmin Stryker 7sv on the console, Stryker 5dv on the bow, Bimini top, & led deck lighting so far. Has anyone upgraded their troller? Was looking into a Minn Kota PowerDrive w/ ipilot. Really want that jack plate & a couple power pole micros, someday...

Was also wanting to upgrade to terrova or powerdrive, but wondering if cover will still fit?I also went with striker 7sv on console. My lake has no maps so quickdraw has been amazing.Would be awesome to have spotlock.

Just picked this up from Bass Pro. Winter will not stop me from fishing! Mods to begin later. Still will miss my heritage until spring.

I wouldn't get your hopes up with the cover fitting. Both the Terrova and PD mount differently than cable steer motors and the shaft and gps head ride higher up when in the stowed position.

That might be a deal breaker for me. As bad as I want it, I keep mine in the driveway, meaning I depend on my cover to keep her out of the weather.

Did anyone ever find or can anyone provide pics of a recessed TM tray install?  i would love to know whats under the deck before I pull the trigger on one.

I saw that, was just not clear if any supports or obstructions had to be cut under the foam.

From what i understand there are no supports in the way.   You will have to make your way through the foam somehow for a drain.

If you do it, take some pics or a video for us to check out :thumbsup_blue:

Bass Tracker Heritage Owners Group On Facebook. Wealth of info to be had from fellow heritage owners. One downside is not all foot pedals are the same size. Going into the future and as the cost comes down on the fly by wire blue-tooth motors not all will even have foot controls.

Any good boat upholstery shop should be able to modify the cover for the new TM.

Was wandering if anyone knows the reason to this: When cruising WOT and trimmed up to get about 6300 rpm, it will hold that rpm for a few minutes then drop to about 5800 and stay, and won’t be able to get back to 6300.

Rev limiter?  I thought red line was 5800.

I kinda figured, but since it took awhile for it to drop off I wasn’t too sure. Have y’all had success getting the black marks off the aluminum from the cover? If so what did you use? I had to tow her through the snowy salty roads to get to some good weather in Arizona.

Took her to the lake this morning, during start up she fired and ran for a few seconds and shut off, wouldn’t re start. Only cranked and hit a couple cylinders and shut off again. My fuel pump doesn’t have the factory dot on it but the dealer said mine came out after the recall. I got mine Memorial Day last year. Fuel bulb was hard, and had fuel at the schrader, all fuses good. Has any one has no start issues yet?

Kill switch in correctly?  That bit me a few times last season .
