My mom would always call me a lazy burro when I wouldn’t clean my room as a kid so I picked burros. Being called a burro is associated with being a lazy person or a jackass in Spanish.

Then you're a really good specialist.

2 Daughters.  Middle names are Jade and Rose.  Easy peasy.  Real name Chris Strom.  A delicate little flower, I ain't.

I chose Fishing Cowgirl because I would get home from school and get on my pony with fishing pole in hand. I would ride him up and down Shingle Creek (Kissimmee Chain) and fish.

I literally eat, sleep, and, breathe fishing. I'm always out fishing or studying on how to get better.

My nickname is Steve-O and I was born in 1969.  And because there is not one creative bone in my body...

My screen name was Bird Dog for many years because I had an old bird dog that used to love riding in my boat. Now that she's gone, I just use my name. The S is for Steven.

I'm a huge Tennessee Volunteer fan, always have been. Birthday year is 1959.

Alliteration....

I’m from originally from an island where bass aren’t native but like all if you love bass fishing, hence islandbass.  I didn’t have enough creativity to think of anything else for a screen name.

Hope people don’t think I’m a bass player, lol.

My grandkids call me papa and my daughters call me dude.

My screen name was the name of a music project I put together on CD before the age of social media.  I have played guitar since my teens, and on this project I played everything - bass, keyboards, drums, guitars, and even programmed some drum machine patches.  (At the time, drum machine patches were pretty ugly,  and in my opinion, most still are.)  :) While I believe the music was solid and well-played for the most part, the recording quality suffered as my amateur abilities with the recording software of the time left much to be desired.

I have thought about changing my name to something else (lucid1 maybe?) but since I am known by the "senile1" moniker I have been hesitant to change it.

Loodkop is Afrikaans for lead head.

I make and fish a lot of jigs.

Favorite lure....

My last name is frost, yes like the snow man, no I’m not related to jack, but I’m good friends with the other jack... the one you don’t know... :P

My mom picked mine in 1965.  How did she know I'd need that exact name for a bass fishing forum...?
