I have started my own Black Friday sale list of everything I’ll need ! Soft plastics , jigs, jerkbaits and a few random stuff I been eyeing up.  Anyone else have a list started ? I mean who doesn’t like getting new tackle ?

i have a wish list at tackle warehouse, amazon and bass pro.

I think all I currently need is offset worm hooks, I usually fish and shoot guns on Black Friday!

Thanks to all my taxes being due this time of year with my last name ending in one of the last letters of the alphabet, both my boys birthdays being at the end of the year, Christmas, and my wife's birthday being in January, I never join in on much Black Friday shopping. 

I've got quite a list going at TW, whether or not I pull the trigger is yet to be seen.

 

Is it 15% or 20% off on TW? Is there lots of exclusions? It's my first year I've considered buying on BF from them.

From my experience, the checkout cart may not reflect the discount, but when the email invoice comes through, the discount is applied. I think others have said a call to TW to place the order and they will also honor the discount, along with the stacking military discount.

Last year's BF was 20% off. A few days after X-Mas they gave 15% off gift cards. If you're ultra thrifty, buy a big electronic gift card, then wait the following year to buy big ticket items. I bought a $500 GC last year, and it didn't last past 4th of July this year....which was 15% off.

Also, I will be pairing this with 15-20lb braid so what size reel should I get?

Going to spend more on the boat than tackle box this winter. Need two new graphs and a new on board batter charger. Black Friday may be a very good buying opportunity for both.

May be worth a shot.  Any wiggle room if the product you want is listed as an exclusion?

My experience was on the Shimano Curado DC. Shimano is listed as an exclusion, and in the shopping cart it was $249.99. I completed the online sale, and my email had it with 15% off during the 4th of July sale.

I think for TW the only actual excluded brand is Megabass.  I know I have gotten the discount on Daiwa reels before.  

 

I use my cc cash-back money for black friday binging.  Right now I am sitting ~$300 and am looking at getting a swimbait rod and a pile of senkos for the spring.

How long is the Fury? I have a 7' Fenwick ML/F paired with a Cabela's Verano 2500 (rebranded Daiwa something) and it feels great. 20lb high-vis braid to mono leader. The Nasci is a very nice reel, but comparing reel sizes from one manufacturer to another is not apples to apples. 

Glad I’m not the only one with a list! I hope they don’t exclude some JDM stuff as half of what I need is megabass or duo realis etc

The fury is 7’. 

Only one thing I really need is another reel thinking SLX ?

Most of this stuff is 20% off once you put it in your cart they alway put that disclaimer though! except the megabass stuff, they won’t do 20% off on megabass ?

As has been mentioned the only tackle company truly excluded from TW's BF sale is Megabass. TW is required to include those other companies as being excluded, but they will still give you the discount on your official invoice after you pay or even safer yet just spend a couple minutes calling in a phone order so you'll know the discount was applied before you pay. 

Honestly I may be remembering wrong, but last black friday there was'nt a whole a lot that was included on the sale

Although there are some Exclusions you still will get a ton of deals I’ve saved a lot on Black Friday threw TW.
