This has been a crazy one- hope you get it worked out or they replace the chair with a new one

Was told that they would replace parts before replacing the chair.

Update:

I checked all my TV settings and there was a auto update downloaded. I went in and disabled all the settings that I don't use. The one was auto motion I turned it off. Seems to have corrected the the mysterious chair issue. Only time will tell.

Anyone I know would be saying it has to be a ghost and your chair, tv and house are haunted.

I am thinking you are right, The issue is back, now the tech is going to change all the electrical components in the chair.

You need a good exorcism.

Now I was told it is caused by static electricity. I think that is BS

Well, we fly Syma s107g helicopters. And there was a Bermuda Triangle area just in front of and above the old plasma TV I had. Anything flew into that zone lost control and crashed. So it could be electricity, but more likely your chair is possessed by a poltergeist.

I think the electrical motor in your chair isn't properly shielded, thus sending RF frequencies that interfere with your TV (and possibly your neighbors, LOL!).

Hopefully the tech will fix it by replacing the motor.

You have to quarantine that mower for two weeks.

Per product support this issue is caused by static due to low humidity, but the new couch doesn't do it same motors and fabric.

The humidity went up yesterday and the TV didn't black out once. Today the humidity dropped and the TV blacked out. I never feel  any static from the chair. I rubbed the chair with a dryer sheet as suggested and that helped. Is there any way to ground a piece of furniture????? If not will keep a pack of dryer sheets near my chair. :(

Return the chair and get a different brand. How much jerking around can you take?

Easier said then done. I wish I could.

After all this I'd make enough noise where they'd take it back.
