Havent seen it done but can lexan be used for the blade on a bladebait, anyone done this. I was thinking bout trying.

I have and fish these baits.

They are smaller than standard vibrating jigs but do get bites.

At the website @A-Jay provided, it shows the blade, but it looks like it is reinforced with metal where the snap is attached.  Let us know what you do and whether it works.  Good Luck.

First stab, hopefully try it tomorrow. Lexan is too thick for split ring, so i improvised. I just want see if i get any vibration at all. Im going to try bending one next and ill see if i can figure out some cleaner connections.

Yeah i misspoke. It didnt do much of anything btw. I think the lexan at.093 is too thick to generate vibration. I will attempt a bigger blade and bending it but im not optimostic

I'd think maybe heating it a little with heat gun will allow you to bend it.

It should work? I guess you could modify some crankbait lips to get what you want.

I think it just needs to be bigger and have a bent lip, it just didn’t have a lot of vib.i was also fishing it in current so it was probably not performing as good as it could when I was going with the current

I am toying with using old spinnerbaits for making bladed jigs to eliminate the poor oring connection. I have 3 different head shapes to play with and it appears that they will work. I'll try them out this weekend.

I thought of this thread too when I saw the "new" chatterbait announcement. There is or was a Rage Blade with a clear blade on the market for several year.

Although it is a fixed blade, Molix has been doing it for years.

I need to stop sharing my ideas and just start making money, geeze
