I gave mine the once over after winter wash a couple weeks ago. Ford chrome running boards don't like roadsalt. Have to use chrome polish to remove the oxidation every spring. Don't have that issue with the chrome bumpers.

Funny you mention chrome.

Not a fan, despite my past several trucks having quite a bit.  You're right it's toast in a year. Love that the new rig has virtually none.  By design I might add.

Stay Safe my friend.

We would be sold out of bread, milk, and eggs with a blizzard like that.

  • It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas (finally) A-Jay

I think we can call winter done.

That was actually TOO hot yesterday for early April.  I could do without another day like that until at least June.

It is very dry out there.  We got some rain last night but we need a monsoon to get out of this drought.  Rain in the forecast every day the rest of the week doesn't bother me.

I’m really starting to understand why the water up north warms up so dang fast after reading y’all’s posts. Not only does it sit somewhat still in the natural lakes, but it also seems that the air warms up pretty fast!

Actually this is unusual - average daily high for April is 55 around here.

And still is relative - Lake Minnetonka is fed by a number of streams and the water exits at Minnehaha Creek - which just before it flows into the Mississippi is this.

Thunder/lightning as well.  Will keep me from failing at crappie fishing for the next few days anyhow.
