A great American hero.  His book is a great read.

I used to work with a pilot that knew him.  My friend said Chuck had brass balls!

He lived a long event filled life doing what he wanted for most of it. He's left us with his legacy as a gift.

Hadn't heard that name in many years. 

My father was a Sargent major and met him and spoke highly of him.
