Having learned so much from the various Bass Resource articles and videos I have read and watched following this forum seemed to be the next logical step so I can learn from all of its members.

I am relatively new to fishing having only taken it up since my retirement in 2016, but it has quickly become an obsession. I started with a 12' boat with a 4hp motor with one spinning rod and reel that quickly set the hook and I took the plunge and jumped up to a 16' Lund and 25 h.p. Yamaha. I have spent the past three years outfitting and upgrading it and now have more rods, reels and tackle than I deserve. I am very lucky to live in north Oakland County with its abundance of lakes, but my favorite is Nettie Lake near my camp in northeast Michigan where I caught my PB a 6.1 largemouth.

I look forward to continuing my education with the help of the members here.

Welcome aboard from the middle of the mitten (Montcalm County).

The Michigan boys have been flooding this place lately. I like it!
