Hello all,

 

Firstly want to thank you knowledgeable guys that have been kind enough to share tips on technique/tackle/colors etc with everyone, I’ve been reading all I can for many months before signing up to ask some informed questions and have become a better bass angler because of it. Have been fishing every once in a while for a few years and did often as a kid as well, finding this site made me want to learn and improve my craft and also led to being tracked home by the bait monkey.

 

I typically bank fish ponds and am getting into a kayak for this spring. My favorite techniques/baits are throwing paddletails on swimbait hooks, swimjigs, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, and weighted/weightless tx-rigged plastics.

 

Also into rockcrawling/cars and currently have a 1JZ+6spd Swapped Lexus SC300 on single turbo/e85 etc. that has been fighting for my free time on the nice days along with fishing and the girlfriend lol!

    Awesome what part? Im from towards Atlantic City area but last season fish between Menantico all the way up to Ocean County area as well. Hopefully will expand that and have some good days on the water with a kayak this year.

    Im in Philly but I fish out of my kayak in south jersey. I didnt fish much there this past season as i concentrated my efforts on  catching  my pb at Nockamixion.  I only fished it a handful of times but I really enjoyed fishing Lenape.

    Hey there! South Jersyian here too. Welcome! Some great fishing down here. Some of our shallow ponds yield some hefty catches. I'm both a bank and yak angler. I'm right up the road from Alcyon so I'm very familiar with it. Some frequent spots of mine this past year have been Penbryn, DOD, Harrisonville, Oak Pond, Greenwich, Union, Parvin, and Iona. Nice to see another South Jersey Bassresource member!
