Agree with the above -- get it done when it's time!  It's a little unpleasant but in general it's not a big deal at all.

 

Now I'm gonna go post over on my other favorite website -- colonoscopyresource.com

I had one when I turned 65.  I asked to watch the monitor so I could follow the procedure.  Toward the final stage of the procedure I saw something that looked odd and asked the doctor what I was observing.  He said nothing to be concerned about, it was just my tonsils.

I bet that left a crappy taste in your mouth

Had one this morning. All good. The prep was worse than the procedure.

I'm a big chicken so my doc ordered a Cologuard box for me. Porch pirates stole it. They are in for a surprise. Hahaha.
