Tackle warehouse-split orders?

Featured Replies

  • Super User

I recently put in a small order ($63) to tackle warehouse. Today when I got the package it only had about half the stuff. Checked the confirmation and shipping email and showed all of it as in stock and shipped. Is it common for TW to send an order in 2 shipments? Just curious because I've never had this

Since they have two locations now - the second half may be coming from the other location. 'In Stock' just means that one or the other has it on hand.

Two questions where is the second location same state? I've been waiting for a sale for a big order and they don't seem to have as many maybe?

Nope - Alpharetta, GA.

Dunno about why the sales have been few-and-far-between - maybe COVID is the culprit.

Thats great news for guys like me, takes a long time to travel all eight zones. I guess the sales are probably not a priority, oh well. Thank you for the information   Dave

Alpharetta? Makes me feel a bit better my new cranking rod will arrive before the weekend.

Depends which location has the inventory.  I'm in PA and expected my last order to come from Atlanta.  All items (rod, reel, baits, etc) shipped from Cali.  Either way, it should be much quicker than it has been!

I'm hoping I come home tomorrow from my morning fishing trip and see a box sitting by the front door.

I bought a rod and a reel from FishUSA before that somehow got separated. The rod got delivered a day before the reel did which was pretty annoying.

I hope and wish you guys could get a next day delivery on everything you order. I'd like it. Deliveries and stock on stuff has gotten crazy. I think a lot if it is covid related, import delays and lack of workers. It will get back close to normal. Not like before, much will never be like before.

But anyway I'll just deal with 2 week deliveries, free shipping charges and whatnot. On a good day I can't run out and get a decent pack of worms or craws, Quality hooks, a crankbait I want to throw, Line I want to use and much more on a local scale. Can seem line a long time out but I know it's coming.

I have not buying that much this year. Finding out that I have more than enough stuff. But this winter I'm hoping to score on some unavailable Shimano things I need.

Why do you wound me, cousin?

From the looks of it, the rod should arrive tomorrow. No tracking info on the hi-viz power pro, grubs, etc, though. Label was created 24hrs ago.

Well I received the rest of my order...all is well.

A couple days ago I got another package from TW that had a single bag of Zoom Z Craws that I forgot I had even purchased. So yes, sometimes orders do get split.

Anyone know if they have a storefront? Particularly the Alpharetta location. Just moved to the area actually.

Between supply chain orders and truck load/hours of service capacity your a long way out from consistently being able to get stuff like it once was, lots of drivers have left the industry since covid started, and the driver shortage is worse than ever, add to that the fact that freight seems to come in waves this last year or so and you have more problems, if you have 100 trucks and freight for 500 trucks, somebody is just going to end up waiting, it sucks, out of the transportation industry control too, we'd love to burn up those miles, but it just can't be done like that.
