we’ve had some flooding and this guy took advantage I guess you could say. He’s done some interviews, apparently he was singing god bless the USA by Lee Greenwood as he went along refusing rescue

he did accept a life jacket though, that’s better than some of us fishermen!!

I hope he put the life jacket around his waist.

I've spent the last 30 minutes searching for the right words to respond to this video.... I'm gonna need more time.

Imagine that the guy was from Tennessee... Never could have guessed that by just watching the video.

Man I’d have a beer with.

Wow!  How have I missed seeing that video up until now?

Might be my new favorite song...  ?

Edit to add: The cougar attack in Episode 2 is impressive!

...and the interviews with the guy are pretty entertaining!  The guy has brass ones.  Big brass ones.

It’s funny and all but that guy is lucky. May have been drunk during it all. Submerged branch could have caught his leg and would have drowned immediately.

I believe he was quite drunk, had many DUI so decided to travel the river

  • Super User

I have to give it to him for using the river to get from point “a”

to point “b”.

Naked and drunk on the river has to be less points than naked and drunk behind the wheel of the ole GMC on route 13.

Just one word is needed: Murica

I'd be worried about splinters!

This is why mental institutions should be brought back. I believe we could fill them real fast.... Make California great again!
