Found a couple of live web cams that are showing open water of some lakes

that are a couple of hours south & west of me.

So that puts a little pep in my step knowing any of the Lake Menderchuck(s) might now be too far way from open water.

Might have to start practice casting again, just to get in shape . . .

No - I think there's close to half-a-dozen Menderchucks in Andy's area.

We it's finally official ~

Every Lake Menderchuck south of the bridge is open water.

At least the ones I'd fish anyway.

Unfortunately the weather's going into the dumper for the next day or two.

but after that - there could be carnage . . . .

Maybe you should drive a few hours south!

It's snowing here right now.  It was 80 on Sunday.

Open water and no fish pictures yet??
