Since I started throwing Zman spinnerbaits, I've become tunnel vision, all I throw.

Yeah, the SlingBladeZ is one of my favorites.

French blades below the main willow...interesting. With added blades come more drag and less thump, but french blades being so flat, that may just add thump. What your opinion fin?

Honestly, it's been so long since I've used it, I can't provide much detail. I've caught fish on it. It looks like a tight group of small shad swimming. Definitely drags, and heavy. Not a lot of thump. It's not really the time of year for it, but I may have to dust it off and take it for a spin.

I really like figuring out the why in baits, and this one has me stumped.

I've done a lot of tinkering with spinnerbaits and other types of lures, and I know what you mean - it seems so simple, but then you make a modification, and it doesn't do what you expect, and then you're sent down a rabbit hole you never planned on getting into. In fact, I can't guarantee that willow is original. I may have swapped that out. Also, this thing is titanium, I'm pretty sure.

What is it you're stumped about?

Man, I miss those.

I still have 3 of em.....

If you can't get bit on either of your 2 favorite spinnerbaits, you should change lure type and/or locations. A special blade shape, color, whatever...i wouldn't waste my time.  (said the guy with dozens of home-assembled spinnerbaits)  :glasses7:

the Tornado that Bass Pro sold years ago.

Came across these a while back while digging thru old tackle. Don't think they've ever been thrown.

Anyone ever throw that YoZuri Knucklebait? I think it was summer of '19 I came across a guy at a lake who had one in a package and showed me. I never really heard much about them, I assume they never took off. I always wondered was it a useless gimmick or was there something to it.

This was given to me, I don't know who makes it. I don't know how old, at least 20 years or so, I'm guessing. I've never tried to make one, but it probably wouldn't be too hard.

That looks like a Titanium Strike King spinnerbait to me.

The BullZeye is a great addition.

I love the look of those slingblades, but dangit I don’t want a tied skirt on a spinnerbait. It’s the reason I haven’t gotten those. I wanna be able to put my own skirts on.
