Currently looking at getting a new reel for large crankbaits. Currently considering A Daiwa Tatula Elite in 6:3.1, a Bb1 Pro in 6.2:1, or a Curado 300k in 4:7.1. I like on the handle side of the Tatula Elite you have a Aluminum side plate which adds some rigidity, i like how how the Bb1 pro is known for distance, and I like the line capacity of the 300k. Negatives of each would be the line capacity of the Tatula Elite, braking system of BB1 pro (brake ring needs oil or grease pretty often) and the graphite sideplates of the, and the size of the 300k. 
i own some of the lews and at first I loved the braking system of the BB1 pro/pro ti but here lately I fee like it has to be oiled all the tome to get good distances. 
I currently have a Daiwa Luna and discovered im not a fan of round reels. 
Thoughts..opinions??

I just dropped a Shimano MGL A 6.2:1 on the St Croix 'Power Glass Cranker'.

I’m using a Tatula 200 in 6.2 for big deep divers with the 100mm handle.  It casts long, has a good gear train, the wide spool helps the IPT stay consistent and the handle reduces fatigue from Bill resistance. The cost is affordable. Might be a good option.

Spray the ring with Teflon lube spray . It goes on wet and drys leaving a Teflon coating that lasts longer and casts further. I'd get the bb1 in my humble opinion.

New JDM Zillion HD has all the things you are looking for.

Take a look at the Curado 200K PG(5:1:1) also the previous generation Bantam PG (5:5:1) would be excellent candidates.

Hmm This may be the one. Looked at it briefly. May be a good option and save a little money

I honestly hadn’t even looked at this reel. This is about perfect Spec wise. How is the quality on these?

I use the Daiwa Tatula 150p 5.5 gear. Works great for me. 

I use the Tat 150 also. Mine is the 7.3 : 1.

Got it today. Solid reel. Now just need to get out and use it

When I need to crank 20' deep or more I use whatever reel is handy, along with my 50 horsepower Mercury.   

I'm late to the party, but I love my Steez crazy cranker 5.X (don't recall exact ratio) JDM if not mistaken. I added 100mm handle.

Dude thanks for this recommendation. I went with the 5.5:1. Threw a 6xd and a dredger 25.5 all morning. This thing is solid as a rock and throws plenty far. First time throwing a 6xd too. Sheww im beat. Cant imagine trying to throw that with a 7.1:1.

Good choice on the 5 gear 150. That’s what I use and I don’t see how people throw deep cranks on higher gears. I use 6.3 for my squarebills and shallow cranks. 

A lot of guys move the bait with the rod and reel in the slack.

First I’ve heard of this on a crank bait. 

Somebody made a video on different crankbait retrieves and showed it. It may have been one of Glenn's videos but I don't remember.
