Anyone used the Houdini largo shads and can comment if this is normal for them? Mine have a large amount of white in them that I didn't see on sites. Was hoping for something that would go a little better for bluegill colored swim jigs.

I don’t know largo Shads but that much variation is normal in other soft plastics.

 

Ayu is one of my preferred colors for bluegill swimjigs and the keitech SIF  are very light on the bottom in that color (at least the pack I have). I’d be more than happy to fish those you have there. 

If you don’t like those send them my way. They look sweet. 

Looks a lot different than the stock pics but I also think it looks sweet.  They look more RI bullfrogish.

A few of them do seem to have more white than usual. There's usually white, but not that much. They do make great trailers tho. As is, it'll have a tighter thump, but if you tear off that little flange it'll thump a little more.

Those look sweet. I think they will be just fine. 

I really like the largo shads in general.  They work well on a spinnerbait, swim jig, ball head for me.  My only gripe is there's not a lot of darker colors other than the real image ones. I'm sure these will function as well as normal. I sent a message to rapalas customer service at the time of posting and they said they weren't a fan, and are shipping out a replacement. As far as the bait performance and customer service they are a 10!  I just gotta feed my matchy matchy side lol

Yes, I beleive that is normal for those. I too like largos, esp for the price. They really have a nice body roll
