Last weekend I had to lay on the horn big time.  The stupid deer still wouldn't move and just stared at me.

Turkey's here too ~

Sometimes I have to actually get out of the truck and drive them off the road like cattle.

The geese do that here. They’re 15 pound feathered rats with wings.

Rarely. Usually when a light turns green and the person in front of me is too busy texting to notice. Even then I count to 5 Mississippi before doing it.

I see a fair amount of posts in this thread about drivers using their phones. Here in MN it is illegal to even hold your phone while driving, even at a stop light. Hands free only use. Maybe other states have not passed this law yet. It’s an extremely hefty fine if caught.

Kind of silly to enforce when even the cops are using their phones when driving....no lie...I've seen Hennepin Deputies on the phone while driving.

If this makes sense, I'll "toot" the horn to let someone know I'm there. I never just lay on the horn. It makes me mad when people have done it to me, so I don't do it to others. There are very few reasons to hammer down on the horn.

Are you an regular auto horn user?  My wife thinks I'm crazy for using my horn when I think someone is in the wrong on the road.  She refuses to use hers at all costs.  She thinks that the next person I honk at is going to turn out to be a hot head and blow my head off.

I’m one of those that gets angry when people honk at me. Im only driving 5 miles over the speed limit ya know !

But don’t worry, I wouldn’t blow anybodies head off over it…?

Same goes for phones here in Cali. but that doesn't stop Stupid people from doing it. Had a lady in the Fast lane on the freeway, texting, I guess she had a problem or something, so what does she do, hits her dang brakes, which is really stupid, when cars are going 70+ mph..

And not to mention idiots swerving in their lane while using their phones.

BTW, the horn on my truck hasn't worked for nearly 2 years, which I really need to get it fixed.  When I'm in my truck on the road, my 1 and Only task is to Drive as safely as possible.
