What Do You Know About This?

Just had this pop-up on my Facebook page and was wondering if anyone out there had already heard of this legal action and if so, did you send in your infrmoation to join the suit? Seems the legal action goes back to January of this year.

On one hand, my instincts tell me not to send anyone any information while on my other hand I am thinking of getting financial compensation, which I surmise is only a few dollars, if anything.

If you cannot open the above link you can try Tackle Warehouse Data Breach.

Just curious about my two queries and your input.  Thanks in advance.

After the second time I suspected my data was hacked from Tackle Warehouse, I've only used PayPal payment to shield my CC info from their system.

Have no trust in them to safeguard my credit card info

I think I used PayPal, too.

Geaux Tigers!!!!

I use PayPal only for any online purchases if it’s accepted. If not I look elsewhere. Better safe than sorry.

you guys that use paypal should look closely at their terms of service.

it was reported a few months ago that paypal planned to find any use posting  speech they don't like, $2500

And that decision was quickly recinded. They described it as a "mistaken" communication.

If I was dying of thirst and the only way to buy a bottle of water was to use paypal, I'd happily die of thirst.

Imagine stealing people's money because you disagree with the perfectly legal act of selling firearm parts.   Imagine stealing people's money using old exchange rates.  Imagine stealing people's money because you hate free speech, and democracy.

Paypal is the debil, why proud Americans use it is beyond me.

Like buying Norman cranks and saying how well they run?... :)

Proud American here and I use PayPal. Never had an issue with them. YMMV

Yeah, that's what the link says...

If the link it to the class action law suit I saw on Facebook it will end up with lawyers making millions, customer getting something like 38 cents each and Tackle Warehouse going out of business.

For the other stuff.  I use Paypal but hate them, and many other big companies due to their politics.   I don't use credit for purchases.  I have a bank account with a debit card that isn't linked to any of my other accounts.  I keep a couple hundred dollars in it so if something get's hacked I'm not out of much.  I'll make a deposit if I want to make a big purchase.
