What size owner cps hook are y’all using for 5” senko? 4/0?

True, but I have an opinion based on experience with these unusual long shanked hooks. The standard Twistlock Light and Twistlock Light weighted are my primary hooks for baits from 3 1/2" paddle tails to 6" worms. The reason I chose the 5/0 in 5" worms is because its longer shank puts the bend through the egg sack of a 5" senko which extends the worm's life. Put the bend through the ribbed part ahead of the egg sack or at the margin of the egg sack and ribs and it's likely to tear just from casting and retrieving it. Also, the 5/0 works better in 5" dingers. It sits perfectly in the hook slot to where the hook's point skin hooks the face of the slot towards the head of the worm.

Nice. Cool tip on extending life of senko. For myself, I like a small hook to give less for the bass to key in on, and also to slow the rate of fall. I can’t say why but for myself, I do the best with that little 3/0 hook. I will fish this on a spinning rod. I can’t say I’ve had a senko tear much on the cast

i use the 4/0 on flukes and senkos.

5/0 & 4/0 are the only size I use. For some reason these hooks run smaller in size than most. 

4/0, but mainly because that's such a great size for most of what I throw. So that's what I always have close at hand

 I have 4/0 and 5/0. They are so close in size that I poured them together in my tackle box. They both work great.

^This. 99% positive that I watched a video with Gary Yamamoto saying that he prefers the 3/0 on spinning gear. If the man himself prefers it then I figure it's gotta be good and it has been in my experience so far. 

I use a 4/0.  Best hook I've found for the senko and t rigging them.

Longer hooks inhibits the shimmering action of a senko for me.
