What size ewg hook do you guys use in the zoom trick worm? Please don’t suggest another hook I’m partial to ewg 

2/0 gamakatsu EWG

You can vary on your size of hook to influence the rate of fall if you are fishing weightless. A 2/0 hook is the smallest and your rate of fall is slowest. A 3/0 ewg is used mostly and it can be moved rearward to change the action. You can normally go all the way up to a 4/0 superliner hook to make it dance different. If you are just Texas rigging I would recommend a 3/0 ewg.

Normally a Gamakatsu 3/0 EWG. 

I'm with Tom on this one.  Give me a 3/0 straight shank, light wire hook. If you insist on going with an EWG, choose one that the hook point sits well above its eye.
