@TnRiver46 if we follow your logic why don’t we just not have any rules because they are to here to enforce

I’d say make rules that are enforceable, BASS does pretty good with that . Probably one of the reasons they are allowing any kind of transducer they want in 2024.

Live bait is not permitted, yet according to your opinion, the majority of anglers are still using it because they're not on camera and their boats aren't inspected.

I'm with @Darnold335 on this one.  You can't just pick and choose which rules to follow.  You follow all of them.  The assumption is that they are doing this until they're caught not doing it.

Yeah and people are using bow and arrow to shoot bass, you can still weigh them in dead………

y’all making up stuff that nobody said

as mentioned, you can see live bait

The one way they could “ban” it would be making the competitors use a boat they give them the day before the tournament like those MLF cup events. The only problem I foresee there is a wrapped boat and truck traveling across America is one of the biggest money makers on the tour

@TnRiver46 if BASS decides to ban it they will find a way to enforce it. That’s on them. No matter how unattainable you think it would be. You don’t just not ban something cause “it will be to hard to enforce”

For now, it’s all fair game so…… smoke em if ya got em

I also feel you shouldn’t ban something just because of internet comment sections, I’d rank enforceability above that

Jeezus fellas, we’re talking about the highest level of our sport and we’re concerned about the pros cheating? Really? I’d like to think there’s a little more integrity in our sport. If not, that’s a pretty sad statement.

@TOXIC I would hope the same too. All integrity seems to go out the window when money is involved for some people. I would say most have it.

Ummmm, there were 3 cheating scandals at top level tournaments just this season. You had to be living under the rock of Gibraltar to have missed the walleye thing. Then you had the BPT debacle at cayuga and the BASS open on eufala, AL. We could pretend these never happen but they do, wouldn’t need prisons if everyone behaved
