New from Vermont

Featured Replies

Hey all,

New here, been fishing for a handful of years, and really love it. Moved to VT (South Royalton) a couple years ago, but for various reasons wasn't able to start fishing often around here until last September, so still getting my arms around things.

I'm 36, fish from a kayak, and mostly fish the CT river on weekdays, and then various lakes/reservoirs each weekend. I'm also really involved in the mountain bike community here. Hoping to find some other people to make friends and spend some time fishing with, and will be entering some Kayak tournaments for the first time this year (hopefully).

Let me know if anyone is around locally and wants to catch up! Thanks all!

I love Vermont. So beautiful. I'm a paddler and cyclist too.

Hey man, im new here to on this site. I Live in MA. I checked Google maps to see how far away you are. I'm not kidding when I say this, it is literally a straight shot from my town to your's. I live right off I-91 In Greenfield Ma.  less than 1 min. Off the exit. Looks like your town is right off I-91. But you are an hour and a half away. Thats kind of far. I hit the CT. River with my boat but not my Kayak. I do small rivers and ponds with my Kayak. I have only been bass fishing 5 or 6 years, so I still have much to learn
