Good morning from Henrico, VA (suburb of Richmond)!

Greetings everyone!  I have seen this website & forum, but had username registration issues at first, and got it fixed.  Whew!

I look forward to reading more and more from this site.  I'm one of those guys who "grew up with a fishing pole in my hand" as the saying goes, always fishing with my dad back in upstate NY and way up in the Adirondacks back in the 60's & 70's.  I still have all his stuff, my stuff, and it's 100% vintage, and still works great.

I also have a little side-hobby, I guess you could say, where I make buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, Mepps inline spinner (clones), and crankbaits.  Been doing that since I was a teenager in the 70's.  It's so much fun to be able to catch a smallmouth bass on a lure that you created yourself, you know?

Lure-making is cool. So is treasuring your pappy's tackle.
