I was just curious as to what everyone favorite brand of baitcaster is. I would have to say mine is quantum with either pinnacle or shimano a close second.

I used to be strictly a Daiwa guy until the new Quantums came out.

I drink from the fountain of Shimano, although I have a TDA that I really like.

I've only used Shimano and going into this season, I will be converting most of my baitcaster's to the Quantum Energy's.  I have a burner and I will be getting a 5.1:1 gear ratio for deep cranking once the ice melts.

For this poll I voted Shimano since I haven't used the Quantums yet, but I'm liking what I see from the Quantums.

Lord knows I'm not a slave to brand names, but I'd have to say that I wouldn't be upset at having to use a Revo, Shimano, or a Quantum.  Never cared much for Daiwa, though.

I do have some Texas Redneck Bubba Bass that are dieing to meet my new Shimano® Chronarch® 50Mg

No it's the silver and gold one. They reduced them by 30 bucks I just got the 2007 Calaog this week and now they have a new prodigy at 99, buty they have the silver ones on clearance

Thanks HPBB I just got a great deal on a used BPS reel that sell for a hundred bucks new I got a used one for a lot less Im told that reel was meade by Pflueger which are my favorites
