Favorite 1/8oz spinnerbait

Bought two 1/8oz Booya micro spinnerbair , but it runs on its side. What are your guys favorites?

I have a couple Evergreen micros, though they are probably closer to 1/4 oz.  They consistently run true.  But despite some folks really liking beetle-spin size spinnerbaits, I'm done using them for bass.  The Evergreens catch fish, but I don't think I ever caught one over 14" with them.

Small spinners can be finicky, have you tried tuning it? I honestly haven't used smaller spinnerbaits in probably a decade but I used to like the 1/8 stanley's which I believe  are still made. Terminator made a good titanium one that's unfortunately out of production.

It probably runs on its side because it's 1/8 oz. The skirt may be too big or the blade(s) may be too big. A trailer probably won't help. Seems like it would, but it would have to be small, heavy and streamlined (no curly tails, ribs, etc.) You could put a pinch weight on the front of the hook.

I don't care for light spinnerbaits. You can go small without going light.

A Beetlespin is my favourite small light spinnerbait.

Beetlespin here too. I really don’t throw an 1/8oz much.

Favorites are the Hildebrandt spin dandy 1/6 Oz, killer for crappie or the Stanley 1/8 Oz one.

I have a few War Eagle finesse 3/16ths too .

Rarely do I use one that light but when I do its a Stanley. I make most of my own spinnerbaits and if I need something small I pour a 1/4oz on a cut down frame.

I use to fish those and you have to have light line, around 6lb and you have to run them slow (like dead slow).  They are great for shallow water bank fishing so it's really just a niche lure for me.  The ones I had rusted and got pitched. Not the best quality bait in my opinion. I really haven't bought anything to replace it in an 1/8oz. I pretty much stick to a 1/4oz now. I like the OSP High Pitcher. It's bigger but still small.

But for pond fishing for bluegill, crappie, and bass, this lure has out produced the small spinnerbaits by a mile. It has been my cheat code as of late. If you want to just go out, have fun and catch some fish this thing below is a blast.  It's the Z-man Flashback Mini. It's doesn't seem well made but I have caught over 100 bluegill on it. The supplied softplastic is not the best and will fall apart but they make a bait called the Shad Fry Micro. It works great and lasts.

The 1/8 terminators I had, ran on their sides. The Strike Kings Mini King ran good.

The Strike King Lil Mr Money is a very good light spinnerbait with a head weight of 3/16oz
