Old-School Lures that Work Great.

Featured Replies

I still have a yellow jointed jitterbug I fished sixty years ago . I still have a picture of me and a bass I caught on it sixty years ago, and sixty years later I still fish the same lake.

I didn't know that. I know it's a good looking worm. I've not fished it a bunch, but have a few packs.

Yes...and after fishing Culprits for years, I saw on the package it says 'how to rig a culprit'.  They recommend you rig the hook on the side of the worm...the side with the tail bend.  I was hooking it in the flat bottom 🤷‍♂️

$12 for 3 #11 or 2 Big Daddy frog. Take care of pork it will last long time, let dry and it’s toast!

When I was a kid I used to buy an orange one with whit polka dots. That was the last time I used them. Deadly. Taking them off to put them back in the jar took a little work.

Pork rinds lol

When I was a kid, I had two lures that were my favorites.  One was the Rocky Jr., and the other was the Fred Arbogast Hiwaiian Wiggler. I know the Hiwaiian Wiggler is no longer made. Not sure if the Rocky Jr. is still in production. I caught a ton of fish with these lures, and I am sure they would still work great.

I didn't know that. I'll have to look at the package. I always hooked them on the flat side too.

Those are fine looking worms!

The shad rap is the best cold water crankbait on the market still to this day. #5 and #7 shad raps are irresistible to bass.

Wish they still made those worms.
