New jigs and Megalodon Spinnerbait additions

Featured Replies

Just added some new custom color jigs in Hot Craw, Blaze Craw, and Sapphire Craw.

I have also updated my Megalodon spinnerbaits.  All of them now have Owner hooks and the 3/4 oz you can get a light wire or a heavier twisted wire.

Those are some good looking baits.

If I didn't just eat breakfast, I think I'd down that Blaze Craw right now.

That thing is PRETTY!

Mind if I ask a quick question but related to your chatterbaits?

I was going to order some but wasn't sure which blade color to order.

What do you recommend if I'm trying to imitate a bluegill?

THANKS!

Another question... why does one spinnerbait have closed lie tie, and the other is open?  Just curious.   I don't have a strong preference, but tend to have better success with open when using braid.

My favorite is either the Bluegill or Sunfish skirt with either a gold or black nickel blade.

That spinnerbait has a real heavy wire for big fish.  I've been making them for a bit for a guy for Baccarac and the Amazon for Peacock bass.  The loop keeps the line from going up the R bend.

Thanks, Mike.  I don't have a lot of data, but I seem to have more helicopter-cast tangles with closed ties, but it could well be a function of other aspects of the configurations.  A lot more variables involved (in how wind and drag affect flight) than I ever really considered before.

Blaze craw looks similar to bama craw, right? I have a bunch of bama craw jigs from you and love them.

It’s considerably different.  Has a lot of pumpkin gold flake. Then the chart/orange.  Bama craw is one sweet color.  One of my favorites.

Gotcha! I know this is asking a lot, but is there any chance you could post a pic of the two (blaze craw, bama craw) next to eachother?

The sapphire craw has colors that have a warmouth coloring to me. We’ll see.

That one does look similar to bama craw. Thanks again for posting the comparison!
