Tackle Warehouse brick and mortar store

I just saw that TW is opening a store location in Alpharetta, GA and has its grand opening October 17th - 20th.

That’s about 2 hours from me, so if I decide not to go to Caddo that week I may have to check it out.

I live about the same distance from American Legacy Fishing. It's awesome going into the store.

I didn’t know they had an actual store…. With a structure.
I have always thought they were just an on-line store.

That’s what I thought as well. Their website doesn’t show any physical locations, but they made an announcement on X about the grand opening in Alpharetta.

Wonder if it’s going to have aquariums and all that, some of theses places are pretty elaborate.

That sounds like a good day trip.  Buy some gear and go fishing OTW home.

It's 16+ hours from me.  There aren't any tackle shops in the Boston area.  I've got a BPS 45 minutes away.  There are a couple small mom/pop shops, but they're too small to carry a big variety of brand name product.

That’s too bad you don’t have anything close by. I’m lucky that a marina close to work has a very good tackle shop. I’ve even purchased a few rods and a reel there as they were the same price as TW.

I’m definitely more of an in person shopper. If there was a tackle warehouse near me I’d visit it. I have never had a good experience ordering stuff from them online.

I remember when the BPS opened in the Chicagoland area.  It was such a big deal.  Now I go there maybe once or twice a year.

113 miles and 1 hour 54 minutes for me.

You win.

2&1/2 hours from me....by air.

Not even close to worth it, especially since I don't even shop the online store anymore.

About 3 hrs from me, but worth the drive. Plenty of other things in the area I can get into…like a few naked dogs from The Varsity…

I know my orders from TW have generally (or maybe always) shipped from Alpharetta.

Love TW, wish they would build something like that in Northern Michigan...

How far is Ben's tackle shack from you?

Ben’s is an hour and a half. I’ve been there a couple times. It’s a great little shop, but my Tundra’s gas mileage makes it cost prohibitive for most of what I need.
