Nice Fish ~

But we're are going to need proper and official spotted bass verification.

@GreenPig you're up.

Lots of great bass being posted in the Latest Catch Pictures Thread. Big Congrats for that.  Sadly none by me yet, but that could change.

Either way, consider adding a few up in this one. So go ahead, call me a loser and represent your state.

I would have been a contender from the fish I caught this weekend. State record is 12.5.

@A-Jay You smell like fish :D.

MD non-tidal record is 11-6 (MD separates for some reason, tidal is 11-2).

I caught this LM in non-tidal waters on 3/29.  5-15

5.94/11.38(*100) = 52.20

Hopefully I can improve on that before the seasons over, got a ways to go!  Also will have a shot at VA, NC, and PA and also smallies and spots.  My goal will be a 'respectable' submission for each species :).

Pretty sure we'll be seeing that scale again. Either way, 52's great place to start.

Congrats

Just now seeing this thread. I'll enter my best of the year so far.

Rumor has it @A-Jay has a shrine on his bedroom wall with a pack of every colored Senko ever made.

PA Largemouth. Came to 4.98 on my scale, we'll call it 5 even for simplicity sake.

5/11.25 x 100 = 44.44

Great Bass Guys~

And that 69.35 could be at or near the top for a good while.

btw - Don't forget the one time Entry Fee –

You must insult me at the beginning of your first post/entry.

Go for it and lay it on thick, I can take it.

I'm sitting here racking my little pea brain about how to best insult you. The best I can come up with is the time you had me reel in your new to be PB smallie at that time because you were already fighting what you thought was the bigger fish. That was a classic. 😀 If that doesn't qualify as an insult I'll just say your pea brain is smaller than mine.

That was both pretty funny and somewhat pathetic on my part. As always, you made it happen though. Hope you can get on some of the same type fish this week.

The 8 lb club would look good on you too.

That’s a funny story!   Haha.

Caught a 3-5 spotted bass during practice for a tournament this past weekend.  Fish was caught on April 10th.

NC spotted bass state record = 6-5

3.3125/6.3125(*100) = 52.48

GridArt_20250414_075752185.jpg.b172ecaf1c70cdf7149d823ba339e103.jpg

Even though spots are the primary species in this lake, I was getting better quality LM so I quit fishing for spots pretty early.  Only other shot I'll have at spots now is November but around here a 3lber at least isn't laughable 😂.

I gave up fishing for spots because I was a pattern for LM like this 😎.
