Crazy that BASS is using the scales they're using.   Things are wildly inaccurate, bouncing from 5.9-5.13 and barely locks into 5.11 and the ambassador locks that in.

I'd be ticked if I was competing and had to deal with that.

On top of that some of these marshals are well, overly cautious, and that’s putting it mildly

Century belt for him, I’d say this is his lake he’s crushing it again.

Wow he slingshotted the line to pop the fish free. Sounds like Jake Letendresse is his cameraman, they were pumped!!!

What lake did he win on last year? TB??

Bad tournament for "cRanKbAiTs aRe deAd" crowd.

That was me.  I watched the scales this morning. There is nothing wrong. The scales are fine. Bass Fishing fans are crazy complainers.

Fujita dropped 100 pounds in 3 days. This kid must be part fish.

Wow!  Incredible weights. 1 guy over age 30 in the top ten. The times, they are changing.

There's even more under 30 NOT in the top ten too.  So... a distinction without a difference.

Shoulder Shrug Idk GIF by MOODMAN

Fujita with 50lb braid and 28lb leader spinning apparently, hes not messing around lol.

From the photos I've seen, looks like hes mostly using the Jackall dice-type bait that came out fairly recently. Theres a photo of him throwing a DRT tiny klash too, which i've never seen him use before.

Thanks for doing some digging on that, good eye!!!

Let me know how that dumb dice/ imitation sea urchin does for ya down there.. 🤣😂🤣 give it a whirl on Pickwick, it’s loaded with smallmouth.

Seriously though, didn’t dude catch an over 5# spot last year? Can’t remember his name but he’s another Japanese fisherman.

Between dice and poop baits, what’s the world coming to 🤪

That was Taku Ito, on the OSP dice which is the most well known. On further inspection of tourney photos, for this derb Kyoya seems to be switching between the Hideup Koike(the original "dice" type bait) and the Jackall bait I mentioned.

If guys can get over the shape I think the dice genre will be almost as big as the senko, much more so than poop baits. You know those times when bite is slow but the fish SHOULD be biting a senko/straight worm/neko but just come to look and maybe nibble, these just get inhaled, and their action on the twitch is unlike anything else to this point.

The youth movement is undeniable.

The dice is basically a jig that you can drop shot with. It might be enough to get me to bother with dropshotting again.

Kyoya knows that screen but more importantly he’s a hammer on these deep south lakes. No doubt about it.

😂, think I’ll stick with worm fluke and jig, I got no money on the line. And I’m a solid 4 hours east of pickwick but I did go once, might as well be the ocean…….. 🎶 the minnow would be lost 🎶

Stroking a jig lol

Trey is a gifted fisherman.

Um another one?? Here we go!

Wow..

7.1

The fishing on Lake Fork has been unreal. Maybe it's the moon. I think the Top 10 may all crack 100lbs.

I went fishing twice yesterday. Once before my son's soccer game and once after dinner and I limited out (5x15+inches) in 45 minutes. Is the fishing great everywhere right now?
