Which isn’t saying much anymore. I guess with the cache they already have they can just milk their product lines. Fine by me, let others innovate and push the envelope.

I like and love my various exprides and see no need to get rid of them, but do agree with your sentiment. There's no discernible difference between the A/B models and the A goes back nearly 9 years. From the same era, though less options in length I find the MC Days better and they're half the price.

New Loomis IMX-PRO rods for 2026. I think this technically falls under the Shimano umbrella

IMX-PRO Bass 2026

The best place to buy Shimano gear for your fishing reels, and the soft goods and accessories to go along with them. From shirts, hoodies, hats, beanies, and even some lures we have all you want to d

Interesting to see Loomis' first BFS rod in the additions.

Interesting. $450 is steep, but a nice revamp with custom reel seat vs the old Fuji ECS.

@KP Duty the 873C CRR piqued my interest. Weird that it skips the GLX - even though there's a GLX 874C CRR with the same rating - and it trickles down to the IMX-PRO.

Also, I called it 2 months ago during the build up to their last announcement but it turned out to be for the Asquith fly rod 😅

Slightly less 1998 looking.

I was going to say the opposite lol

The prior generation of imx pros have green wraps while the 90s imx rods were all black just like these are lol

Loomis really went for nostaglia with both the new imx pros and new glx rods going to all black with just a logo on them. Fine by me

The new imx pro lineup also includes Loomis's first ever BFS casting rod, a 7 foot light power model.

Would pair awesome with one of those Calcutta Conquest BFS reels for the low low price of your left kidney lol

I still want this though lol

Yea...first one labeled a BFS rod, but I bet the old CR721 would have made a good one.

Never fished a Loomis and at $450 it appears that streak will continue!

They look sweet though.

Weird/sad that they have no plans for lefties in the 200 size for the 2026 Calcutta Conquest DC
