Apparently that means nothing at TW.

I bought some "hot" items in stock. Paid for them, got a receipt. Then 2 days later got an email saying they couldn't fulfill my order and would be refunding me.

I have little doubt they took my order to fulfill the order/backorder of a bigger/better customer who was too slow on the limited stock.

I bought the baby kingyo and the TN Shad. Had a mat shad in my cart and was looking for a few other things. By the time I went to check out, the mat shad had gone out of stock. What I will say however is that I placed my order about 5 hrs ago, but haven’t received an order confirmation yet…which makes me wonder the same as you @RRocket

I added another grass piece in the order too, so maybe I’ll get that at least.

That is correct. Kasumi Ito is one of the best Megabass colors you can get. Also got mat shad and 2x baby kingyo cb as that is my most productive color in the regular karashi. The only other color I want is sh bass cs, but those sold out in seconds. Maybe on the next go round.

Those were the two colors I got as well - Kasumi Ito and mat shad. Both are my favorite colors in the plus 1 junior.

Circled back around later and grabbed deadly black shad and the albino pearl.

Interesting on the baby kingyo - I’m a Megabass fanboy but don’t have any of this color currently. Seems they are putting it out in more and more baits. More of a smallmouth color for you or both LM and SM?

I have only caught LM only on them. It is a great color!

What’s your most successful retrieval method?

With the regular Karashi...twitch twitch pause, twitch pause...twitch twitch twitch pause...in any order you want. I fish the bait at a medium pace, pausing for about 1 - 2 seconds, then get it moving again. You can't yank on it the way you do a jerkbait. Has to be quick little darty twitches with just wrist input. Keep it eratic. Dart it around, but pause an let them think about it for a second. That first move after the pause is when they usually hit it like a fleeing baitfish.

With the 80 I am assuming you can put a little more rod input into it more like a jerkbait. I have not had much success with the underwater walk the dog steady retrieve.

@Rockhopper I've even had success just casting past a grass edge and letting it sink on semi slack line.

Starting to roll in, my buddy has another 3 waiting for me.

I ordered 2 on Monday from TW. They are taking forever to ship. The UPS shipping label was created last night and I have no delivery date yet.

Really sucks too - I threw off a grass piece at gville this am…

@Smirak dang, I ordered that one from TW yesterday. We are a little spoiled in CA with the local warehouse.

Well, in all fairness too, I usually get my TW orders the next day if I make the cutoff. UPS Ground is a one day ship from Atlanta to Huntsville. That’s what’s got me so irked…
