Arkansas River Elite Series

Featured Replies

Not many venues start as a trout stream in the Rockies.

FFS is eligible but this should be a shallow water power fishing flavored event.

There might be some weather that causes water levels to rise and if it rains enough it might adversely impact the fishing.

Lots of dudes have posted videos of themselves getting stuck during practice 😂

Cox won’t be getting stuck.

Pake south is on quite the roll

He seems to know this water system well. He won the open on Tenkiller the other week.

I think JC has a good chance to go back to back. The arkansas river system is his homeland and what he loves. Just his kind of fishing.

I own far to many bass lures. I have almost everything imaginable. Then I make the mistake of watching a few minutes of BASS Live. First thing I see is Lee Livesay land a nice bass on an all pink buzzbait. I didn't even think the Bait Monkey was paying attention, when all of a sudden he jumps up and starts pointing at the buzzbait. Before I could even realize what was happening, he had found the exact bait on Tackle Warehouse. To make matters worse, the next time they put Livesay on live he is landing a bass a pink bladed jig with a chartreuse trailer. The Bait Monkey just smiled. I had to admit, I didn't have everything. I did have to point out the fact that Livesay is way down in the standings on BassTrack. The Monkey laughed and said the tournament ain't over yet and started looking for a pink and Chartreuse bladed jig.

They said McKinney isn’t pinging back anything yet

I imagine the eventual 'ping!' and he'll have a top 10 weight. Seems to be the way...

Dont know if you remember Aldo Rosado but he was made fun of on here for his fondness of the pink Rattle Trap.

he's totally fishing my kind of water right now. I love a good buzzbait bite.

I believe he was throwing a walking bait...faaaast. Then switched to a popper for a bit.

*edit- I guess he was throwing a buzzbait as well. I must've missed that.

Did you see Swindell with his hat off? He has tan lines through the mesh and around the snap back. He needs a different hat ,LOL.

@NorthernBasser by the time I read this thread and got the live feed up he was throwing a buzzbait over old pad fields and just covering water. I couldn’t find the aerial footage yet so I’ll look for it tomorrow.
