Just was thinking what is everyones favorite crankin line?  right now mine is P-Line CX Premium in 12#.  What do yall like?

either 10 or 12# SST line.

Right now I'm transitioning all of my line to braid.  So I'm going to be using 10lb Power Pro this year, however last year I loved throwing cranks on 10lb P-Line Flourocarbon.

I throw 8# for cranks.  I think they run better and deeper with the smaller diameter line.  I have tried braid but braid and treble hooks don't seem to like each other.

Oh, it makes sense.  Just plain no BS line.

I love CXX and have some 8# and was thinking about putting it on my crankin reel, just was a little worried about using 8lb.  But I know that 8lb CXX is not like 8lb anyhting else.

Talking out of my arse here, but I would compare 8 lb. CXX with 12 lb. Trilene XL.  At least in terms of strength.

Probably about right I normally refer to my CXX as "tow rope"  that stuff is pretty strong.
