I hate to add another rod question but after all my research, i'm just not decided.  I'm looking for the most sensitive rod for jig/worm fishing, like to keep it under $125.00.  I have the Mojo and don't think it's that sensitive.  Have a Falcon Lowrider, seems pretty sensitive.  The Veritas sounds like it is sensitive, Bucco, compre, any help would be great.

The Buccoo had decent sensitivity, But I thought the actions were kinda slow, but they dont list the actions on the rod so I didn't know the intended action of the rod.

I like my kistler magnesium ts for a work rod. Very senstive just a little on the heavy side.

I really like my Bucco, I use it for jig/work fishing and it does very well. If possible go to a place and handle the rods. Everyone has their own likes/dislikes on how a rod should feel.

I have to say Powell as well.  There are two 704 rods in the flea market right now...not to mention he is offering a free rod with them...I'd get a 704 and the pro qualifier.

Test them yourself in the store using this old trick. Go to your local retailer, grab a couple rods you're interested in, and very lightly drag the tip of the rod on the carpeted floor. Next to actually fishing with it, there isn't a more accurate way to judge the sensitivity of a rod. If the floor is not carpeted, set your cell phone alarm to vibrate and let it vibrate on the floor or on a shelf and touch the rod tip to that.

I also do the old carpet trick.  Another good one is to have your buddy hold the rod tip against his adams apple and talk to you while you hold the rod handle.  It might attract some funny looks,  but you can definitely feel the sensitivity difference in rods.

Veritas is a very sensitive rod.

Comfort is another big thing to take into consideration. A rod can be super sensitive but if it's not comfortable in your hands you won't want to fish with it. Personally I have several St.Croix Mojo rods and I love them. It all depends on who is using them and what they like in a rod.

If you are going solely off sensitivity at that price from my limited experience I'd say BPS Carbonlites.

I have falcon lowriders and Cara's too.  For sensitivity the Carbonlites are closer to the Cara's JMHO.

I have no comparisons to make cause I have experience with just one GOOD rod class, and that's the Shimano Compre.  But after I switched to using them the difference was night and day to my older, lesser priced rods.  I found them to be very sensitive using fluorocarbon for bottom contact lures.  I can feel things I never could before.

In that price range "new", I'd say the veritas or powell for just a tad more(sometimes on sale though), and I'd have to add the Lamiglass excel series. They don't get much attention, but they are a light and sensitive rod. I got a Powell for Christmas, and am very impressed with it from handling it(no fishing), it seems to be very sensitive.

I am a big fan of the 704 powell, to me, it's a very well rounded rod and very versatile.  It's not a broomstick heavy but rather fishes right between a true MH and H (if there is such a thing).  It handles 1/4oz and up very well, I've fished everthing from t-rigs, jigs, and tubes to shakey heads and spinnerbaits on them.  Just thought I'd give you a little info.  They are a great rod and that's a great price.
