Just picked this Patriarch up last night on a super sale!  Now to find the right rod for it!

unbelievable deal for sure!  would never have imagined owning such a nice spinning reel.  i'm of the mind that over $100 on a spinning reel is just excessive, but to get all the features of this sweet $200 reel for $75 out the door was just crazy.

 

i'm going to take it nice and slow and find the right rod to pair it with and really make sure i'm maximizing the reel's potential.

Check out the Aetos. They designed the color on that rod just for the patriarch when Fenwick and Pflueger teamed up on that. It's botj navy blue with the black carbon details. It may be hard to see on websites but trust me if you see the rod in person it's a perfect match looks wise. I don't know how it performs though.

A Megabass Zonda Hedgehog and a Megabass Lin Black Jungle...didn't have time to snap more pics.

The Zonda is going on an X7 Eiger, and the Lin is going on a Super Red Demon.

You are going to LOVE the Super Red Demon...it covers such a wide array of weights and is really sensitive.
