Have y'all seen the weather for next week?  My weather app says 30% wintry mix for next Friday but the temps are listed at a high of 55 and a low of 50. How do these temps produce a wintry mix?

Mine says rain and freezing temps monday changing over too snow and freezing temps tuesday, low for both days 19 degress.

Had 30lbs today and my dad had 14lbs in our club tournament. Our best 5 combined was 33lbs. I had 3 fish between 7- 10lbs jump off. My big fish i caught was 9.5lbs.  Lots of tournaments coming up, but

  • Well two days in & only 3 fish ?   But one was tagged BassCashBash which I was registered in, it won me a 2019 Dodge Ram!

I thought it would be appropriate to bump this thread after hearing the bad news of @Catt's passing.  I don't fish Toledo Bend but this is a very interesting read for anyone.  I know Tommy took a lot

Gonna be up there in SM area Friday-Sunday.  What kind of boat are you fishing out of blaster?  I will be in a maroon skeeter zx190.

Im in a blue pro crappie 175 but i probably wont be around have a class in houston on the 17-18th then headed offshore atleast thats the plan right now as always its upin the air till i get there.

Look for the main lake point that the main boat lane passes over and is less then 70 yards from the south shore of San Miguel, just passed San Miguel park, has two deep water coves one on each side of the point.

Heheheheh hope this helps sir.

Anyone hear anything on the big tournament today?

Finally installed some HDS units in my nitro I bought off a buddy. Any suggestions on a good chip to get for Toledo?

Im still doing it old school, hook and line map and baits in the water, with notes wrote down for each spot and catch.

My fishfinder is old and only use it to find humps and ditches.

@Bass_Fanatic

Thanks Blaster.

I have a navionics south region and I like it.  I think it is the navionics +.

"My weather app says 30% wintry mix for next Friday but the temps are listed at a high of 55 and a low of 50......"....

Only believe 50% of what you hear--and NUTTIN' of what you see...............

Accuweather for Zwolle shows, Fri-53-44 chance of rain, Sat-63-45 rain and drizzle possible, Sun-65-40 cloudy chance of rain.

I plan on heading up to the camp tomorrow and possibly wetting a line in the afternoon if I don't have any broken pipes or other issues to deal with. I'm planning to stay until Sunday for that "heatwave"!

Amateur Hour, I'll text you and give an update after I get out on the water.

Word.  I will run into you next weekend.

Lakemaster is best, but only works in Humminbird. Your next best bet will be the navionics plus.

"I heard 28 lbs won it..."...

How many days did that 28 cover??/-----I know nuttin' 'bout their T's.......tia..

Tournament was one day and they had quite a few real good bags brought in.The legend Harold Allen and Matt Loetscher won with 28.74, George Jeane and his partner had secon place with 27.47 and a kicker over 10 pounds, 3rd place was 25.92.

That is some good bags.

Anybody have water temps main lake and coves north and south?

Water was 46-50 today. It was warmer south than it was up north

Looks like a perfect day to be jerking up a few Sac's in the Coop..........

Going to take my first trip down to Toledo here at the end of the month and im trying to learn everything i can about the lake. Does anyone have some tips to put me on some bigger fish? Anything helps

Looks like I’ll be back on the lake this coming weekend.  I sent my humminbird back where they replaced a circuit board. Really impressed with the service. Shipped it Monday. And fed ex delivered the repaired unit back on sat. Also just installed an minn Kota ultrex on my tin Ranger boat. Can’t wait to try out the spot lock feature. I’ll let y’all know how I like it soon

You will love that ultrex! Best add on to a boat you can have outside of good electronics.

I am actually in the far back of my mind thinking of replacing my xi5 with an ultrex.
