I don't know about the rest of you guys, but We have been hammering bass on buzzbaits and frogs for the last few weeks. And for those of you in the Peoria area, I hope you all are okay after the wicked storms that came through last night.

I was able to sneak out the other night after getting the kids to sleep and ran into a new PB! 6lbs 3oz at a little lake by my house. I found an offshore weedline in about 10ft of water on my portable

Kinda rough weather in northern IL today but I've been on this 3-day weather pattern the last couple weeks (fishing the 3rd day of warm day/warmish night trend) and today is the target day. I decided

Well, Has anyone been doing any good lately? Been down to Banner Marsh a few times and a couple of private places. Not a whole lot of luck, but have caught several quality fish in deep water. If the good lord would make it stop raining, I'm going to attempt to get out this weekend.

Went up to Evergreen Lake yesterday, but was only on the water for an hour as it started storming, at which point I returned the boat and drove back home. Didn't catch anything, but there's always next time.

Have been doing good in NE Il. and SE Wi. jig and pig at the docks, frogs & buzzbaits over the weeds and slop, footballhead jig and hula grub in about 10' of water on flats near to deep water when boat traffic is heavy.

Newbie here from about 10 miles south of the Fox chain of lakes.

Lots of good fishin here.

Just sayin HI to the IL guys.   ;D

I have to say, that pond behind BWell's house is magical.

I'm averaging 7 fish an hour fishing from shore. The fish here are so gullible they constantly hit my poppers right when they hit the water.  :)

Too bad they're mostly dinks ranging from 8-14 inches.

Chicago, IL and NW Indiana and fishing usually within a hour to 2 hours of the south side of Chicago.

Caugh the fish in my sign. pick at a lake in NW indiana on a Spro Frog

Usually try to head out every weekend, weather permitting and fishing from the shore.

Went out for the perch opener on the Big Pond. Perch weren't on but we found a school of 13-15" smallies. Action was HOT! for about 45 minutes. Ended up with about a dozen. Not huge but fun. The fish were suspending in 16fow off the breakwalls.

Fished Lake Shelbyville for the first time from a boat. Got skunked and it's been driving me nuts!

Anyone going to be fishing Central or Southern IL anytime soon with an empty spot in their boat?

Going to fish Kincaid outside of Murphyboro this Monday ,Tuesday and wednesday with my lady friend. It should be cooler then. You can rent a boat at most of the lakes around. Kincaid's :) my favorite as it has them all.

Safe to say it's been awhile since anyone has posted on this. Anyway, Has anyone been out ice fishing yet? plan on giving it a shot tomorrow. Thinking I may run down to Emiqoun and check the ice there this afternoon. Would really love to find the slab crappies there.

No ice fishing yet.

Looking for a bit warmer weather so i can get to clinton for some stripers and crappie though.

Anybody tell me if they sell beer there?

Went to the Let's Go Fishing in Collinsville.  Not real impressed this year.  Getting kinda tired of cold and snow.  Need WARM.......

Got to handle alot of rods.

Huh? :)

Was a good show this year. I picked up some Tightlines UV soft plastics. I also decided that after seeing the prices of the new Basscats, Rangers, and Legends that used is the way to go.
