The Mid South is bracing for a third round of blizzard

conditions overnight. The National Weather Sevice

is predicting 1" - 3"of snow with temperatures plunging

to 29*. Expect schools, government offices and public

transportation to be closed tomorrow.

Better stock up on water and groceries, we all know how bad those 3" storms are. Where I live 3" is barely even news worthy.

Wow Kent, how long before it melts? 4 hours? :D

Nope. Luasanne said no matter what we will be open tomorrow. We were suppose to be open last Monday but the guy who usual says if we have school or not was in Nashville.

You don't know what your missing, we just had a cold snap where it was below zero for a couple days in a row.

29* it was -13*F and few nights ago here. we got probably 2 1/2-3 ft of snow right now

1-3 inches? Do you guys just use push brooms to move the snow?

We've had more snow this winter than we have had in probably 20 years and winter is only half over (march is usually the snowiest month!)

Oh, and we just got done with a week of sub zero temps.

I hate winter.

Nope. Good ol' square front shovels  ;D

It's starting to come down here pretty good.

In my neck of the woods, the city shuts down if we get 2". We have a ton of hills and relatively few sandtrucks/plows. That stuff turns into compact ice really fast.

6-12" maybe more here, with some 20-30mph winds. And I know I will have classes tomorrow.  ::)

My sister-in-law lives out there and that's what she says too.  I figured with all the rain you guys get and how far north you are located that snow would be pretty commonplace out there.

Don't y'all know that this is global warming! :)

roads were a little icy for my tastes this morning. especially gtown parkway and in front of cameron brown park. but nothing was shut down :( :( :( :( :-[ :'( :'( :'(

The suit is to prevent sunburn, my skin is quite fair.

Raul, I am envious of your weather.  It's that whole "living in Mexico" thing that I couldnt get used to.   ;D
