Mission accomplished

I posted a few months ago about the Pepsi Refresh contest our younger daughter had entered. She did not make it that month, but she finished high enough in the standings to be in the competition the following month.

In all, she was in the competition for three months. Each time she learned different strategies, and about forming coalitions with other competitors.

In January her efforts (and those of many others) were rewarded when she finished in the money and was awarded a fifty thousand dollar grant by Pepsi to help fund her Lab rescue project.

Good for her. Watching kids succeed is one of life's pleasures.

That's awesome, nice to actually know someone who received one of these, you never hear about the recipients after the contest is over.

That's Great Tom.

This is awesome to see! You always hear about these kinda things but rarely get to actually see someone win it. Awesome cause as well.

That's awesome!  Congratulations to her.

On a side note, be careful using that phrase, "Mission accomplished." You don't want to jinx her.   ;)
