wow i have all of those. the last one is probablly my favorite out of all of them. i also recomend Advanced Bass Techniques by Rich Zaleski (www.richz.com)

Sowbelly, the obsessive quest for the world record bass.

I hate reading books, but have really enjoyed reading this one and it has made me want to find some other fishing books to read.  I definately recommend it!!!

If you're just getting into bass fishing, Homer Circle's Bass Wisdom is a great reference to have.

If you want an entertaining read, Sowbelly is tough to beat.

I keep a log of every fishing related book that I have read and on the log I store a breif note about the book and the book's ISBN number to help me find the books more quickly from the public library.

IB's Note: Tons of information about the color shift that happens underwater. While it mainly focuses on steelhead and salmon, the knowledge Dr. Kageyama imparts is invaluable for bass anglers too.  BTW, there is a bass section that I found most informative. I have become a better angler after reading this book. Make better, more educated selections in your choices for lure colors.

If you target smallmouth, In-Fisherman: Smallmouth. Both books are outstanding and available in paperback.

I just had the local library find me copies of both Sowbelly and Iaconelli's book "Fishing on the Edge".  I was looking for fishing books, more of the biographies than anything else and these two popped out and looked good.  The books are in now and I'll pick them up tomorrow, should be good reads.

In-Fisherman Handbook of Strategies: Largemouth Bass.

Fantastic book. I've read it about five times. Its my personal favorite.

1. Tom Mann's Methods for catching bass by Tom Mann

2. Largemouth Bass by The Freshwater Angler (pretty basic but I would      

   highly recommend it.)

Picked up the books today and I am already halfway through Iaconelli's Fishing on the Edge.  It is a great story so far and also has some tips and strategy inbetween chapters here and there.  Anyone who is fairly serious with their fishing will like this book I'm sure.  I could also see how a nonfisherman or woman could like it as well, but their is some terminology used that might not make exact sense if someone had never bass fished.  Request it at your local library and read it for free!!

The Bass Fishermans Bible

Homer Circle's "Bass Wisdom".  It's a great read and very informative.  If you are a science guy the In Fisherman series on Largemouth Bass and Bass Location are pretty good too but a lot less entertaining and kind of dry yet full of good information.

The Psychology of Exceptional Fishing

It mostly relates to bass but can be applied to any kind of fishing.  It's really an asset if you fish tournaments.

I saw it on here already but I wanna give another recommendation to Sowbelly.  I love that book and have read it almost 4 times.  If you like big bass fishing than you will love this look into the lives of the best big bassers in the world and the big bass scene
