How would you classify your fishing?

Shallow, Flipper, Junk

Shallow, nothing better that being ambushed from shallow grass edges and beds

Versatile

I like power fishing, but I don't always do it. Should have asked what we like the most.

What is Junk Fishing?

Had to pick Junk, I will throw anything if it catches fish, even made my own bottle cap lures just to see if I could catch something with them.

Junk fishing is not having a pattern. Throwing anything and everything until you get a bite.

I elected to classify myself as "other". I fish for many different species and size ranges. From light spinning gear to deepwater conventional gear, I fish freshwater, inshore and offshore for pelagics.

Im gonna go with shallow. I destroy those bass in the shallows. By far my favorite area of the lakes and ponds ti fish. However crankbait works too. I used to hate cranks, i couldnt by a bite with them. However they have become my favorite lure.

Summer time patterns DEEP WATER! You have to fish where the big ines live. ;)

Shallow and finesse! I love my plastics and little jigs.

I'm going to have to say the same thing. Shorebound plays a role in that.

I very rarely get the chance to fish deep :(

Junk, whatever I have to do to get bites!

I had to pick Crankbaits and Shallow as most of my crankbait fishing is in the shallows.

I wouldn't classify myself in any one category so I chose "other." Depending on the conditions, the season, and other observed environmental factors I might fish deep or I may choose to fish shallow. When the bass are located in tight to brush I'm probably pitching and flipping. If I catch the fish in an active period I'll probably be a power fisherman. If the fish are inactive I'll be finesse fishing. I try to be versatile. Once I determine where the fish are located and what mood they are in, that determines what kind of angler I am at that particular time.

The meat-&-potatoes of angling is Versatility & Adaptiblity.

If you dare to paint yourself into a corner, you're dead at the gate.

Don't take my word for it, ask Kevin VanDam ;)

Bass Angler & as sure I use what ever techniques necessary to fit the current conditions ;)

Junk, I throw anything and everything, with whatever type of retrieve I can think of, until I get bites.

Junk, usually have at least 6 rods on the deck with different things tied on and usually catch fish on all of them by the end of the day. Usually have a pattern but if I see something that I could fish better with something else I'll put my rod down and throw something different for a cast or two and go back to what I was doing, get some pretty good fish that way.

Other. I love to flip and pitch, duh. I also love to crank deep or shallow. When the smallmouth are in 25 feet and a tube or dropshot is the deal, I like that bite also. I love it all and fish em' all.

Finesse, deep, smallies = Crestliner! :)

Once you take a 4 lb. smallie in 30' of water, you'll be hooked.

ill fish however i need to in order to catch them but my favorite way is to flip them out the the thick stuff.
