I did retire May 31 so now I can live my dream and guide more and just fish during the week and let the others have the lake on weekends. It sure feels weird not to have to go to work. :fishing2::good-news-175::drunk-37::lol-045::fishing::champagne-088::barbecue-21: 059: :let-s-party-084::happy-100:

Congratulations and welcome to the club !

Like anything new - it takes some getting used to.

All that "stuff" that you had to squeeze in around and between work during the week and on weekends - is now something that you can take your time with and actually enjoy.

You'll soon realize that you're sharing you're new world with a "shorter crowd".

And you are right on about fishing during the week rather than the weekends.

Congrats! Takes a long time to get to this point in life but it's a new beginning. Now, your time is truly....your time! Enjoy, you've earned it.

Congratulations! You have to be flying high! I'm on target for an early retirement but depending on healthcare inflation and other factors I may work longer or shorter. It is definitely something that I am looking forward to. I am so tired of fishing only when I can and not when I want to.

Congrats to you. I hope I will be able to do the same someday.

Enjoy your retirement eyedabassman!

Congratulations! You are now an official Old Fart. Welcome to the club!

Congratulations! Enjoy every minute of it!

I've got 5 more years in the rat race, if I last that long  I'm looking forward to joining the weekday fishermen.

Congrats and enjoy!

I've been retired for two years now. I'm busier now than when I was working but still manage to squeeze in fishing every day B)

Weekday fishing....how cool is that? I hope to retire someday, but i don't know if i can stop working. As much as i love fishing, i don't think i could every day. Congrats!

Great news! Very happy for you! Fish during the week, must be nice! Enjoy it!

Welcome to the club. Ain't life grand when you get to the stage that you are not at the mercy of the weather? If the weather is good, you can go. Is it a nasty weekend? So what? You can now go on Monday, or Tuesday, or any other day as long as it ends in "y".

Congratulations, and enjoy.

I cant wait till I can retire. The only thing that gets me through the day is knowing that I am one day closer to retirement I only have 36 years 8 months and 12 days left! Enjoy your retirement you've earned it.

Congratulations! I also retired at 3:00 PM on Tues. May 31th.

I woke up at 3:30 this morning made coffee, took a cup to the garage, looked at my rods just sitting there and realized that I need new friends. Everyone I fish with still has to work.

I'm going to enjoy making new friends. Enjoy and see you on the water.
