What Is This Thing?

Recommended Posts

I found this under the driver's console in my boat. I only have Shimano reels but can't find any missing anything like this.

Sorry for the pic quality. I took several and never could get a good focus.

Sorry BB, but that's a side cover for a dingleschaeffer. The two holes are for access to the twin calibration potentiometers for the side-band encabulation circuitry. I thought everybody new that. Shees, what do you guys learn in school anyway?

You're both wrong. That's a thingymajig.

Seriously, that came off the bottom of a spinning reel.

Can't read the printing, but try googling it...........it does look like the bottom of a spinning reel.

Looking like a trick ?.

Almost looks like the bling plates from a Symetre

What is the printed word on the plate?

That is also my thoughts but I don't have any reels with parts like that on them.

A co-angler or guest perhaps? previous owner of the boat? The other guys are right about what the piece is, now it looks like you need to find out who's it is.
