  1. I'm an x-ray tech on the weekends and an insurance broker during the week.
  2. Which Horton are you talking about and what question?
  3. How do you guys feel about having a "Show N Tell" during and after dinner each night? We could have an open floor so anyone could get up and show what they learned that day or give instruction on what is working. It could be a question and answer time as well. I would be glad to kick it off each night but I don't want to be the only one doing it.
  4. Oh man, I'd like to hear the answers to that from your pro Glenn. : I know he's got an opinion.
  5. compressed soy bean curd
  6. No rattles in the origional Shad Raps. They are balsa baits.
  7. I'll ask the same question I always do. What sets you apart from the other 100,000+ anglers with resumes? You should find something that will make you stand out. The worst thing to do is blend into that group. This thing is different for everybody and it's up to you to find it and promote it. Oh and get rid of those bubbles on your website. They are cute but distracting. You don't want them to be the focus.
  8. Being on time is a big one for me. I fish barefoot. When it's cold I wear socks. I always have a hat on. I almost always buy my tackle on sale. I always forget to pack food. I always pray before going out. I find myself singing while I fish.
  9. I did good in a tourny last week not 300 yards from the Wildwood Ramps.
  10. The Okuma was a peice of junk when they first came out. I don't know if they ever fixed the problems. I have several Daiwa HST's and they are workhorses.
  11. I just picked up my second 4.7:1 this past week. I got it for $50 at the BPS outlet here in GA. I love them.
  12. Here's a new one.
  13. I work with new and old seasoned doctors every day. I work in a very large Trauma Center so we see the worst of the worst and I totally agree with the statistics. Don't trust one doctor. Always get a second or even a third opinion when it's something serious. Never trust an emergency room doctor with your primary care. Get a family doctor.
  14. Your worm doesn't need to float to be successful with a Spot Remover. The inventor of the thing uses Zoom Finesse Worms and Trick worms. Here's the list of what I use. Finesse Worm Trick Worm Speed Craw Ol Monster Worm Speed Worm Senko Yum Craw Tube Net Bait Paca Craw Fluke
  15. It took me years to learn how to stack hair and I don't think I could ever do it that good.
  16. If Georgia's in it then we will bring in our ringer Randall with the backup ringer Doghouse both fishing on Lake Varner. ;D
  17. All off topic bashing has been edited.
  18. Another Georgia Boy in the house. Welcome
  19. Man, Those angled cuts on those 2x4s look like they were a lot of fun. : I would have been pulling my hair out. What size plywood did you use?
  20. Daniel, That's a great way of doing it............Not to high but not all the way to the bottom. I like that.
  21. This is the best explination I have seen.
  22. 6'8" Med ex-fast (Flukes, Jighead worms, spinnerbaits) 7' Med ex-fast (Leadhead flukes, Lipless Cranks, Topwater) 7'6" MH Fast (Jigs, Carolina Rig) 7' ML Spinning (Dropshot, Mojo Rig) 7' M Mod (Crankbaits down to 8ft)
  23. This is how you do it. That way you don't run the risk of messing up any of those rivits when sanding.
  24. Welcome to the forums. We are glad to have you with us. A 1432 is to narrow to put a deck on. You should expect to fall out several times a year. To test this statement, put the boat in the water and stand on the bench then walk from one side to the other and see how tippy it gets. I personally wouldn't do it. But you can put a floor in it and carpet it to quiet the thing down.
