  1. Other - I can't stand the time in between trips.
  2. Make sure the glue is water proof. lol I use the two part epoxy that is used for wrapping rods.
  3. It's the best Ultra Light line I've seen. I haven't used the heavier stuff.
  4. That's gonna be a great show. I can't wait.
  5. This is a good article about how to fish it. http://basstournament.blogspot.com/2006/12/finesse-wacky-jig.html
  6. I don't remove the rattles because I still want the weight and I still want it to run true. I just glue them inside. On Rat-L-Traps I drill 1/4 inch behind the front hook.
  7. I am always ready to hunt turkey. I have all my stuff in a box and I am ready to go in about 20 minutes. I love to call birds.
  8. It depends on how you want to use it. I love the Mattlures Bluegill during the Bass and Bluegill spawns. It also works great worked like a jig on the bottom. I'll be using the tube swimbaits for schooling fish this year and a couple of hard swimbaits for when the fish are feeding up.
  9. Finesse Wide Gap but I am about to start useing the Wacky Jig Heads.
  10. I have a few. But I made them that way. First I took and xray of them to see the best place to drill a hole. After drilling the hole I filled the inside with glue and hung it at the same angle that it swims so the weights would settle in the right places. After the glue dried I sanded the hole and that was it. I quiet trap. And it catches fish.
  11. I want to learn how to fish the new Wacky Jig head. Swimbaits I'm still working on a jig.
  12. I use the David Fritts American Rodsmith rod paired with the BPS David Fritts Reel and I love it. I don't think I will ever replace it with any other rod when it comes to Deep Cranking. I have the 7'6" rod and I wish I would have gotten the 7'11".
  13. The only thing I can figure is that it needs to be a .wmv file.
  14. I was lucky enough to get in on the Cabelas Revo SC deal last year. I got two of them for 79.99 then add on the $10 rebate for each and that was one of the best deals of the year. Every once and a while I find a item on BPS online that is priced wrong. A couple of years ago I found the Clear one of these listed for .99. They were supposed to be listed for $9.95. I picked up 12 of them and they have been one of my best produceing cranks. Oh and then there's my boat. It is a 2004 Aluminum Triton 186 Sport. The guy I bought it from got a guy who bought it brand new and parked it. He and his son only used it five or six times total. I picked it up for 10,200 and the 90hp Merc only had 8 hours on it.
  15. Yes they could have. It's pretty cool how fish will actually come up to you sometimes just to see what that big thing swimming under the water is. They don't seem to be scared at all.
  16. It stopped working months ago so I removed the link.

  18. Yes, Co-poly floats. There are a few setups that I wouldn't want to use it on though. Senkos and Dropshot come to mind. These two presentations require a sinking line like fluorocarbon. A floating line can have a negative effect on the action of a senko and it will make working a dropshot rig on slack line almost impossible. Co-poly is excellent for topwater and any rig where you aren't working it on slack line. A little trick to keep you topwater working at it's best is to get a little paraffin wax and coat four feet of the line in front of your lure.
  19. They are both made in the same factory.

  21. Think of it like this. "Daddy I need some way of making money and I don't want to work hard like you did to get my cut. Can you do something for me?" "Sure son. I tell you what. I will let you sell some of my baits under your own label but you have to put fewer baits in each package." "Great dad. Thanks a bunch."
  22. Anything sold by infomercial. The rage lure of the year. - I never like the chatterbait and the basstrix brand may never be in my box. Other than that I'm game for anything.
  23. Remember that this is a world wide website and the Bass Shoppe is not a very well known store so many of us don't know what you're talking about.
  24. That is only the case with motors that have Maximizer (Minn Kota's term - I don't know what Motorguide calls theirs). Ya see, on a conventional trolling motor (ie, without Maximizer) the same amount of power is drawn, no matter what speed setting you have. If on a lower speed, the excess power is just wasted away as heat, which is bad on the brushes. Now, motors with Maximizer use only the required amount, which means they are more efficient. But, if you are getting a motor to be used only for heading across the lake at full speed, then fish with a different one, you can skimp, and would be just fine without Maximizer. WHAT??????????? A trolling motor that is run at half speed will have power for twice as long as if it were run a full speed. That's basic electroncs. I don't know where you got that information but it ain't right.
  25. That's cool man, LBH is gonna love that music.
